The Feather River Grange in Quincy is holding a dance fundraiser Aug. 10, featuring country dance (Texas two-step) lessons. Longtime teacher Dave Matuszak promises “fun for all ages — 18 to 80.”
Lessons begin at 7 p.m. at the Grange, 55 Main St. across from the California Highway Patrol office. Both beginner and intermediate dancers are welcome at this casual dress event. No partner is required. Adult tickets cost $4; tickets for kids, students, and seniors cost $2. All proceeds go to restore the Grange building.
