Plumas Arts welcomes families to Music in the Plaza

Plumas Arts is set to present the final concert for the Music in the Plaza free summer concert series this week. Everyone is welcome to gather at Dame Shirley Plaza in downtown Quincy (across from the courthouse) Thursday, Aug. 17, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This music series is free, family friendly, and accessible for all.

The featured local musical group is Dog On It, a new group made up of Johny McDonald, Ken Cawley, Lance Barker, and Saraha Black. “These fantastic and talented musicians will be enjoyable to listen to for sure!” said Plumas Arts Events Coordinator Jennifer Ready.

Attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Dinner will be available to purchase from La Cabaña, which typically offers taco salads, tacos, burritos, and drinks for sale.
