The Mohawk Community Resource Center in Blairsden announces a free program for visually impaired Californians age 55 and older. In conjunction with the Redding Disability Action Center, a presentation is set for Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. at MCRC. Senior Vision Consultant Phyllis Gaoiran will be speaking, and items such as talking technology, large-print materials, and adaptive aids will be available.
