High Sierra Animal Rescue in Portola reports that it will hold a semi-formal to formal event entitled Mission: Pawsible to celebrate rescue dogs and the HSAR mission. The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 23, 5 – 9 p.m. at the National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada. The evening will include no-host drinks, a Northern Italian dinner, a silent auction, activities, music, dancing, a scavenger hunt, and more.
Organizers report that the funds raised through Mission: Pawsible will be used to help HSAR save the lives of as many homeless, adoptable pets as possible, and to provide them with the care they need until they can be placed into permanent, loving homes. Support from individuals and businesses has enabled HSAR to save the lives of more than 5,000 homeless, adoptable pets in the past 24 years.
Tickets cost $100; they can be purchased online or by calling (530) 832-4727. To learn more about the event or purchase tickets, visit http://www.highsierraanimalrescue.org/mission-pawsible.
