Plumas District Hospital invites the community to a groundbreaking ceremony for its new skilled nursing facility. The event will take place 11 a.m. Aug. 31 at the construction site of the new facility across from Plumas District Hospital at 1065 Bucks Lake Rd. in Quincy.
“The groundbreaking ceremony signifies the commencement of construction for the much-needed
skilled nursing facility, which will serve as a vital resource for the surrounding communities,” said Dale Morgan, PDH marketing manager. “This state-of-the-art facility will be a beacon of compassionate care, providing essential services and expanding access to care for patients in need.”
The groundbreaking ceremony will include members of hospital leadership, project leaders, the Plumas Health Care Foundation, healthcare professionals, the United States Department of Agriculture, S+B James Construction, HMC Architects, and others. They will share their vision for the skilled nursing facility and its impact on the community and evolving healthcare needs.
