The Graeagle Community Church at 150 Graeagle Johnsville Rd. announces that it is offering the Bible/Gospel-based Awana program for children age 3 through sixth grade. Within the Awana program are three separate clubs: Cubbies for preschool children, Sparks for those in kindergarten through second grade, and Truth and Training for those in third through sixth grade. The program is open to all.
Organizers report that an evening at Awana includes game time; large group time, which includes a Bible lesson; and small group time, which includes memorization of scripture and Bible study.
The Awana program at meets on Wednesdays September through April. The evening begins with a light dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by club time from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The first meeting is set for Wednesday, Sept. 6.
