Congressman Kevin Kiley will be visiting Portola and Loyalton today in a series of public meetings.
After a town hall meeting in Loyalton, where a community water system and biofuel project are topics, the Roseville Republican will tour a new Eastern Plumas Health Care (EPHC) clinic.
Kiley is scheduled to arrive at EPHC’s Portola campus around 1:45 p.m. for a tour of the facilities led by Chief Executive Officer Doug McCoy. Next up is a stop at the Portola Courthouse and the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Trail, which intersects hospital property.
Kiley’s final stop will be Portola’s Western Pacific Railroad Museum before dinner with the Lost Sierra Chamber of Commerce at Nakoma.
