Bruce Williams, of Meadow Valley Community Church, reports that an Awana club is now available for children in the American Valley area. Williams’s church, Meadow Valley Community Church, has joined Quincy Community Church, Calvary Chapel Quincy, and Springs of Hope in providing this opportunity.
Awana is a Christ-centered program of games, Bible teaching, and scripture memorization for children ages 3 – 13. The Quincy area Awana meets Thursday evenings at the Springs of Hope Church at 59 Bell Lane in Quincy.
Club begins at 5:30 p.m. with a light supper and ends at 7:30 p.m. “All children are welcome, invited, and encouraged to attend!” said Williams. Opening night for Awana is Thursday, Sept. 14, and weekly meetings will continue through May 2.
