“Join us for a pawsitively amazing silent auction!” says Abigail Birnbryer, marketing and fundraising manager for High Sierra Animal Rescue in Portola. “While we had to regretfully cancel our Mission: Pawsible event due to a few unexpected challenges, our dedication to the wellbeing of our furry friends remains stronger than ever.” The auction will offer an opportunity for folks to support the HSAR mission from the comfort of their own homes. HSAR extends heartfelt thanks to the generous donors who provided an array of amazing items for the auction, said Birnbryer. Bidding is available until Oct. 1. Prizes include an 18-foot Bayliner boat, Mt. Rose ski tickets, an inflatable paddle board, a brand new kayak, a Schwinn bicycle, and more.
