It’s happening again this year. The fifth annual Giant Rummage Sale will be held at While Sulphur Springs Ranch on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The White Sulphur Springs volunteers are looking for tax-deductible donations to the non-profit entity. Although public donations haven’t started, the collection is growing rapidly largely from Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council (MVSC) members and volunteers.
Items for donation will be accepted on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7th and Sunday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The quality and variety of the items contributed by the community have been exceptional, making past rummage sales highly successful. There will be no price tags on the gently-used artwork, tools and small appliances. The MVSC depends on shoppers to come up with reasonable offers, with suggested minimums for highly valuable or unusual items.
The White Sulphur Springs volunteers are not accepting computers, TV sets, clothing, bedding, shoes, car seats, exercise equipment or books.
