The Graeagle Men’s Golf Association held its Big Chief Golf Tournament Sunday, Oct. 1. An awards dinner followed the tournament.
The format for the tournament was best ball on the par 4s and 5s, and both balls on the par 3s. Par in this format is 84. The winners were as follows:
- First place: Lance Raglen and Nancy Linch with a net score of 76
- Second place: tie between the teams of Gene/Kathy Carr and Mark/Beth Yuill with net scores of 77
- Fourth place: again a tie, this time between the teams of Dennis/Alaine Flynn and Bill Harrison/Cynthia Baldwin with net scores of 78
Following the tournament was a prime rib dinner and the awarding of prizes from earlier events. In addition, it was announced that Dennis Flynn was awarded the Lifetime Member Award for his years of service on behalf of the association.
