Mitch Polzak and the Royal Deuces are the featured musicians at the 20th annual Halloween show, held Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Quincy Vets Hall.
The event will include food from High Sierra Sheep Company and entertainment from Quircus that is sure to wow your spooky senses. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the show, which starts at 9 p.m. and includes a fire show at halftime.
This Halloween show is a long-standing Quincy tradition that includes a costume contest, with prizes for first, second and third-place winners. The Quincy Vets hall provides festive ambiance, a big dance floor, and a step into a musical “Honky Tonk meets Tim Burton” Halloween extravaganza.
Internationally renowned Mitch Polzak & The Royal Deuces are celebrating their 20th year at this Halloween show. Timothy Orr will be on drums with Joe Kyle Jr. on bass! This year’s show features a special appearance by Nick Polzak on washboard.
The show originally started in 2003 at the much-loved Pangea Cafe and Pub and has not only persevered but thrived year after year. It has local roots: Mitch Polzak is the brother of Nick Polzak, founder of MountainCraft Landscaping in Quincy.
Now the mantel has passed to Riccardo Jacobus, owner of the Drunk Brush.
