The Quincy Junior-Senior High School S-Club members announce that they have elected officers for the 2023-2024 year. They are as follows:

- Kimberly Sanchez, treasurer
- Shelby Nussle, public relations officer
Soroptimist International of Quincy congratulates Quincy High School S-Club’s officers and 40 members for their dedication to community service. The S-Club will sponsor its first event of the year Oct. 21: the Fall Festival at Pioneer Elementary School. Organizers report that this event will include games, a cakewalk, and various fun activities. On Oct. 31 volunteers will act as crossing guards at the Safe Trick-or-Treat in downtown Quincy.
Future community service plans for the S-Club include a walk-a-thon, canned food drive, Easter egg hunt, Christmas toy drive, Children’s Faire participation, and writing get-well cards to Plumas District Hospital patients.
