The Quincy Parent Cooperative Organization announces that the annual Quincy Elementary School Halloween Fall Festival has returned, this time at the Pioneer Campus at 175 N Mill Creek Rd. in East Quincy. The fundraiser is set for 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.
Organizers report that the “spooktacular” event will include “games, ghosts, goblins, and giggles galore.” “Come and behold a gathering of magical unicorns, wicked witches, and feisty superheroes all vying for prizes.”
This fall fundraiser is presented annually by the Quincy Parent Cooperative Organization and hosts a variety of game booths with prizes, a cake walk, and treats for sale. Participants may decorate their own prize bags for free.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume in the following categories: toddler to TK, kindergarten to third grade, and fourth to sixth grade. In the decorated pumpkin competition, pumpkins will be judged as Scariest and Most Creative, with prizes awarded in the child, adult, and classroom categories.
Tickets are $1 each or 15 for a $10 wristband. Donations for the cake walk and baked goods sale are welcomed at the school Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
