Organizers report that a 5K charity run/walk Turkey Trot is set to raise money for the Quincy Co-op Preschool. The event will be held Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 23, at Feather River College. Registration opens at 8 a.m., and the run starts at 9.
Participants can preregister for $25 online at https://www.quincypreschool.coop/.
The event includes prizes, donated by local businesses, for best costumes. “Start off Thanksgiving Day the best way — spending time with others, and supporting the community!” say organizers.
