Quincy Scout BSA Troop 151 offers a return of its Christmas tree sale this year. Shoppers can support their local troop while getting their holiday spirit ready, said Pack 151 Cubmaster Nikki Grose.
The troop will be selling Christmas trees, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis, Saturday, Nov. 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or while supplies last. On Sunday, Nov. 26, sales will occur beginning at 9 a.m. if any trees remain. Trees cost $10 a foot and can be picked up at Plumas Motor Supply, 85 E. Main St. in Quincy.
“Sales support our Scouts for summer camp and other troop activities,” said Grose. “These activities help our Scouts gain a positive sense of self-worth and help them gain valuable skills.”
