Quincy High Lady Trojans emerge victorious

The Quincy Junior-Senior High School varsity Lady Trojans basketball team emerged victorious from the Tournament of Champions by defeating the Biggs High School Wolverines 37-33 on Saturday, Dec. 2. During the tournament, Quincy also won against Williams High School on Thursday, Nov. 30, and East Nicolaus on Friday, Dec. 1, resulting in a clean sweep.

Jenna Peay was chosen for the all-tournament team, and Shelby Nussle was named MVP.

The Quincy Junior-Senior High School junior varsity team secured the second-place trophy in a fiercely contested tournament. Team supporters offered congratulations to the players for their outstanding performance and for “making their school proud.”

Next up is the Portola Tiger Classic, held at Portola Junior-Senior High School Dec. 7 – 9. The Lady Trojans invite the community to come out and join them for an exciting time.
