James Michael Blubaugh was born Oct. 16, 1957, in Pennsylvania and passed away on Oct. 14, 2023. He grew up in Sacramento where he attended Mira Loma High School and lived the last 30 years in Shingle Springs, California.
Jim built homes on the west shore of Lake Almanor, Taylorsville, Roseville, Placerville, Granite Bay, Sacramento, and West Sacramento. He worked with Enterprise Car Company for years and worked all over northern California as a general contractor.
Jim is preceded in death by his father Albert Louis Blubaugh on Oct. 23, 2017. He leaves behind his mother Sara Jane; wife Teresa; ex-wife Terry; sons Brandon and Bret; daughter Kate; grandson Anthony; granddaughter Destany Rose; brother John; three sisters Terri, Michele, Celine; nephews Zackary, Preston, William, Jayson, Devin; nieces Sara, Melissa, Melanie, Page; five cousins and great uncle Jim in Valley Falls, Kansas; great aunt Margie in Wichita, Kansas.
