On Tuesday, Jan. 2, the Plumas County Board of Supervisors will review an update on countywide broadband services presented by Tilson Technology.
Tilson, a telecommunications service based in Maine, has produced a Broadband Draft Plan over the past several months. It includes an assessment of current and future needs, an analysis of current service areas, and a report on the 1,144 locations (7.4 percent) that have no broadband service.
To comment on the plan, contact Zachary Gately at [email protected] by the close of business on Friday, Dec. 29. Comments can also be made in person or on Zoom at the supervisors’ meeting, which starts at 10 a.m.
