“Wish” plays Jan. 1 at 7 p.m. Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force — a little ball of boundless energy called Star. “The Holdovers” plays Jan. 5 – 8, 7 p.m. Friday – Monday and 4 p.m. Sunday.
