In partnership with Plumas County, Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship announces that Plumas County is applying to the California Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Grants Program for funding for trail maintenance on the motorized trails on the Plumas National Forest. In addition, funding is sought for the development of Phase 1 of the Claremont Trail System, in partnership with the Plumas National Forest.
The county and SBTS will be hosting an open house meeting to discuss this project and other projects Jan. 11 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the SBTS headquarters at 211 Lawrence St. in Quincy. Interested members of the public are welcome.
