The board of the newly formed Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District will be holding its inaugural meeting Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 6 p.m. in the training room of the Beckwourth Fire Department located at 180 Main St. in Beckwourth.
The new board members are Cary Curtis, Melissa Klundby, Richard McLaughlin, Daniel Smith and Larry Smith. The board will be appointing officers, setting a meeting schedule and considering other organizational matters.
