Holly Callahan, owner of Pangaea Cafe and Catering, and her assistant Michael Sims served up a supper of seasoned chicken breast, a creamy pasta studded with vegetables, salad and garlic bread at the Jan. 10 Quincy Community Supper. Organizers report that over 100 meals were served to a very appreciative crowd.

The free supper is held on second and fourth Wednesdays starting at 6 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St. A different local group volunteers to prepare and serve each supper. Quincy Community Supper began in 2002.
The next supper is set for Jan. 24. Questions regarding the supper, donations, or signing up a group to volunteer may be directed to Angela Elliott at (530) 283-1478.
