Application period opens for 19 regional scholarships

Opportunities available for high school seniors, college students

The application period has begun for 19 college scholarships offered through North Valley Community Foundation.

Applications for and details about each scholarship can be viewed at www.nvcf.org/scholarships. The deadline to apply for most scholarships is April 19.

The majority of the scholarships at NVCF are for graduating seniors who will be attending college in the fall, but there are some opportunities for current college students as well. 

Students from any high school in Butte, Glenn, Tehama, Colusa or Plumas county can enter their school to see which scholarships they are eligible for.

Scholarships open for applications through NVCF include the following:

  • Bridging the Gap for Breast Cancer Scholarship.
  • Carrie Holiman Memorial Scholarship.

  • Harold Williams Scholarship.
  • Jerry Novotny Journalism Scholarship.
  • Mack Johnston Memorial Scholarship.
  • Molly Sacksteder Memorial Scholarship.

  • Red Bluff Alums for Justice Scholarship.
