Main Street Artists Gallery invites the community to a First Friday reception Feb. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. Organizers report that the event will feature fresh paintings along with wine and appetizers. This group show features the gallery’s artist members.
“Get a head start on selecting the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your sweetheart,” say organizers. Along with new paintings and photos, displays include faceted gemstone jewelry, gifts made of fine woods with delicate marquetry and an assortment of greeting cards.
Organizers point out that the word “art” is in the word “heart” for a reason. Main Street Artists members are always happy to chat about their works with guests at the reception.
