The Quincy Junior-Senior High School girls’ basketball team secured its 10th consecutive win in its Feb. 9 game against the Portola Tigers. Although the game was tied at 24-24 at the end of the first half, Quincy claimed the league championship by dominating the second half and keeping its winning streak alive with a 46-34 final tally.
This brings the Lady Trojans’ current record to 24-4.
Next up, the Lady Trojans meet the Los Molinos Bulldogs in a home playoff game Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m. The Lady Trojans have won their last seven games at home and will be looking to maintain their momentum by defending their home court against Los Molinos. With a record of 16-10, Los Molinos will be facing a formidable opponent in Quincy.
