In 2024, Medi-Cal health plans must meet new requirements for quality, access, accountability and transparency in order to meet statewide improvement goals, reports Seneca Healthcare District in Chester.
The healthcare plan for patients with Medi-Cal who live in Plumas County changed as of Jan. 1, when Plumas County was automatically enrolled in Partnership HealthPlan. Benefits, which include primary and specialty care, as well as hospital services, will now be managed by Partnership.
The county’s three hospitals are providers with Partnership, as follows:
- Eastern Plumas Health Care in Portola, 530-832-6500.
- Plumas District Hospital in Quincy, 530-283-2121.
- Seneca Healthcare District and Lake Almanor Clinic in Chester, 833-227-3743.
The transition will not affect medical services available or provided at any of the facilities.
