Shuffleboard tournament benefits Indian Valley pool

Playing shuffleboard on Saturday, Feb. 24, will help keep the Indian Valley Community Pool in Taylorsville open this summer.

The Indian Valley Recreation and Parks District and the Indian Valley Pool Committee are sponsoring a shuffleboard tournament at the Taylorsville Tavern. Participants and spectators alike can partake in a taco dinner costing $15 for adults and $10 for kids. The event starts at 4 p.m.

The shuffleboard tournament starts at 5:30 p.m. Players, who must be 21 to enter, should register by 5 p.m. Registration is $20 for a 50/50 pot to the winners.

The Indian Valley Recreation and Parks District and the Indian Valley Pool Committee encourage all to come out to support the Indian Valley Community Pool. For more information, contact Laura Kearns at 530-284-9980.
