Library celebrates Read Across America with giveaway

All branches of the Plumas County Library are hosting a weeklong book giveaway Feb. 26 through March 2 to celebrate the National Education Association’s Read Across America event. This week also coincides with Dr. Seuss’ birthday, which was March 2.

All children ages 0 – 18 are invited to visit their local branch during open hours and complete an activity sheet to receive a new free book to take home. One book is allowed per child per day.

Activity sheets are available at each branch or online at www.plumascounty.us/593. Participants may print sheets out to complete at home, then bring to the library.
