Vincent Villany, long-time resident of Genesee and Canyon Dam, died in February in Greenville, where he was staying after the Dixie Fire burned through his Canyon Dam home. He was 83.
Vinney lived in Indian Valley and the Almanor Basin for more than fifty years. He is survived by sister Ann Demarco; daughter Karin Murray, and son Vincent Villany Jr.
Private as he was, the many whose lives his was a part of will remember and feel the absence of his steady beat.
