Quincy comedy show celebrates women

dramaworks and the West End Theatre in Quincy are partnering with Pachuca Productions to present “Hitting the Big Change,” a one-night engagement set for Friday, March 15. This comedy performance celebrates Women’s History Month with “love and laughs.”

“Hitting the Big Change” will discuss what it’s like to identify as female, will all the nuance and circumstance that comes with it. “We all know ’em, we all love ’em!” say organizers. “Let’s celebrate Women’s History Month the right way: by sharing a beer and talking about them!”

The show will run from 7 to 9 p.m. and feature special performances by Tina Terrazas, Lisa Grant, Margaret Elysia Garcia and Saraha Black. Open mic in 5-minute intervals will follow the performance. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased online at https://westendtheatre.us/ or by calling 530-283-1956. For more information, email [email protected].
