Chester Rotary and Mt. Lassen Community Church joined forces to host the annual Community Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 30, at the Chester Park.
Sunny blue skies prevailed even with snow on the ground as kids of all ages hunted for eggs and enjoyed churros from Burros-and-Churros in Westwood, popcorn and hot chocolate (sponsored by MLCC).

Kids who found a number in their eggs were also awarded prize baskets provided by Rotary. “It was a wonderful start to the Easter weekend and a great community event,” said Jennie Mathews, co-chair of the Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce. “Thanks to all for coming out and being a part of it!”
