Quircus, Quincy’s nonprofit community circus, will celebrate World Circus Day on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the Plumas Unified School District lawn on Main Street in Quincy. The event will be held weather permitting.
The group’s goal is to provide circus booths, vendors, events, activities and more, including the following:
- Face painting.
- Balloon animals.
- Concessions.
- Aerial silks setup and demonstration.
- Flow and acrobatics arts performances.
- Stilt walkers.
- Yoga.
- Massage.
- Dance.
