Soroptimist International of Quincy invites community members, friends and family to gather for the 13th annual awards dinner celebrating Local Women Making a Local Difference. The event highlights local women who have made outstanding contributions to the community in the past year.
The dinner will be held Thursday, April 25, at the Tulsa Scott Pavilion at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy. Social time starts at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6. The menu includes smoked chicken, veggies, salad, a roll and dessert. The cost is $30 per person.

- Local high school awards: Simone Smith, Addison Gay.
