Feather River Land Trust organizers announce that as winter thaws into spring, they are hosting a cleanup at the new Sierra Valley Preserve Nature Center. They are seeking volunteers to help clean up trash around the nature center before it opens to the public in the summer.
The event is set for May 4 starting at 8 a.m. Participants will be cleaning up trash around the nature center and along A-23, so they should wear brightly colored clothes and bring sun protection, water and a bag lunch. Coffee and breakfast treats will be provided in the morning, and trash bags and gloves will be provided.
