Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship and Rick Stock invite the community to attend a free screening Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall Theatre in Quincy. The event features the film premier of “California North BDR Expedition Documentary.”
The film highlights the new Backcountry Discovery Routes NorCal route, which passes through the Lost Sierra and several areas within SBTS’s Connected Communities footprint. Viewers can watch the Backcountry Discovery Routes team and special guests as they navigate the backcountry of Northern California through the High Sierra.
The trans-state adventure moto route for dual-sport motorcycles closes the gap between Mexico and the United States. Organizers point out that riders can now traverse the United States fully on off-road BDR routes.
Doors open at 7, and snacks and beverages will be available for sale.
