Almanor Art Show seeks artists, makers

Plumas Arts has announced the 53rd annual Almanor Art Show coming to Chester on June 22 and 23. Taking place on the Collins Pine lawn, the Almanor Art Show welcomes artists from California and beyond to showcase and sell their wares.

Plumas Arts is currently accepting applications for artists and makers who are interested in having a booth at this year’s show. Applications are available at https://www.plumasarts.org/almanor-art-show-2024.html. The application deadline for the 2024 show is May 31.

The Almanor Art Show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 23. The show is open to the public and will include a variety of painters, jewelry makers, woodworkers, ceramic artists, fiber artists, food vendors and live music.

Plumas Arts has coordinated the Almanor Art Show since 1983. Organizers report that, along with providing the community with a festive weekend, the show generates proceeds to support local art education programs throughout Plumas County. For more information about this event visit PlumasArts.org or call 530-283-3402.

Plumas Arts, a nonprofit cultural organization, offers programs that serve the area with arts education as well as a gallery of resident artists’ work.
