Latter-day Saints serve Quincy Community Supper

Next free supper set for May 8

Organizers report that the Quincy Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted the April 24 Quincy Community Supper. Volunteers served spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and cookies for dessert. During the evening, 109 meals were served.

The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices. The next supper will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited for food and fellowship.

Questions regarding the supper, donations or signing up to volunteer may be directed to Angela Elliott at 530-283-1478.
