Plumas Disc Golf invites the communities of Plumas County to an upcoming free Community Day. The event will be held at the Pioneer Park Disc Golf Course in Quincy on May 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers encourage everyone to bring friends and family for a day full of fun, friendship and a fantastic introduction to disc golf.
“New to disc golf? We’ve got you covered!” say the folks at Plumas Disc Golf. “We’re giving every new player two brand new discs and a crash course in how to play. It’s the perfect chance to try something new and join a vibrant community.”
This event is made possible by the Plumas County Public Health Agency’s 20,000 Lives program.
Pioneer Disc Golf Course is located on the corner of Pioneer Road and Fairground Road in Quincy. The Community Day event will be held in conjunction with the Children’s Fair at the adjacent fairgrounds, where Plumas Disc Golf will also have a presence.
