Turner McIntyre and Braden Harris, two seniors from Plumas Charter School’s Indian Valley Academy, have been selected to participate in the prestigious Lions All-Star Football Game, reports PCS. This event will take place June 22 at 5 p.m. at Shasta College. Fans can purchase tickets online.
“This annual event showcases the top talent of graduating high school seniors from across Northern California, and McIntyre and Harris have earned their place among the best,” said Rachel Goings, public relations specialist for PCS. A total of 48 exceptional players were chosen from schools throughout Northern California to participate, representing IVA in highlighting the best of regional high school football talent.


To prepare for the game, McIntyre, Harris and their fellow all-star players will participate in training at Chico State University from June 17 to 21. This intensive training is aimed at both sharpening skills and also fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the players.
The Lions High School All-Star Football Game, a tradition dating back to 1978, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for players and spectators alike. The Lions’ vision is to promote camaraderie, sportsmanship and excellence among graduating high school seniors within Northern California Lions District 4-C1. The Lions All-Star Football Game is a district project of Lions International District 4-C1 in Northern California, embodying the spirit of community and athletic achievement.
