Plumas County library staffers in Quincy are hard at work preparing for upcoming library renovations, reported library aide Sharon McKay. In order to prepare for the installation of new carpet, every book must be moved out of the way. “We are making good progress in moving all the books in each section,” she said.

Renovations also include new bathroom flooring and door replacement. The library closed to the public starting May 15, and will reopen June 3.
