After the event, there will be a Fourth of July Craft Fair at Chester Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a Fourth of July Parade starting at 11 a.m. on Main Street. The craft fair is sponsored by the Chester Elks and the parade is sponsored by the Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce.

Organizers report that last year’s event drew over 450 participants of all ages and abilities, with many dressed in costume or their favorite Fourth of July colors.
This year’s event sponsors include many local businesses.
