The Plumas County Democratic Central Committee is hosting a meet and greet with Jessica Morse, candidate for U.S. Congress in District 3, which includes Plumas County. Morse has extensive experience on the front line of California’s wildfire crisis and promises to work to ensure that every American has access to reproductive rights.
Organizers report that incumbent Kevin Kiley was invited to the event but is unable to attend. His campaign said he may be available at a later date. The event will be held at the Mohawk Community Resource Center, 8989 Highway 89 at the corner of highways 89 and 70 in Blairsden on Saturday, June 1, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Refreshments and drinks will be served.
