Cal-Sierra Title Co. hosted the Quincy Community Supper on May 8. Volunteers served 110 meals, consisting of chicken skewers, green beans, salad, home-baked bread from American Valley Baking and cookies for dessert.
The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices. The next supper will be held Wednesday, May 22, at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited for food and fellowship.
