Verizon announces it is partnering with Local Initiatives Support Corporation to provide $10,000 small-business grants. The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant is part of an initiative to give small businesses the tools and resources they need to thrive in today’s digital economy and ultimately benefit their local communities.
Owners of small for-profit businesses are eligible to apply. Applicants may apply for one business only and must be over the age of 18. To apply, businesses must register for a Verizon Small Business Digital Ready account, complete any combination of two courses or virtual events before June 28 and submit a grant application by June 28. The grant application is made available once the course requirement is met.
