Lake Almanor fireworks relocated this year

The Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce reports that due to fluctuating lake levels and unforeseen circumstances, this year’s fireworks display will be relocated adjacent to the Chester airport. Thanks to the generous support of All Phase Landscaping, this year’s fireworks show will be launched from private property after 9 p.m. Thursday, July 4. There is no allowed access to the private property for pedestrians or vehicles.

“The community’s enthusiasm for the upcoming July 4 celebration at Lake Almanor is truly heartening,” say organizers. “Fireworks have long been a beloved tradition for our community, and the chamber is fully committed to upholding this cherished custom. We are committed to providing a spectacular show for all attendees and eagerly anticipate returning to our traditional lakeside location for next year’s event. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate these adjustments to ensure a memorable experience for everyone involved.”

The chamber invites examination of the provided map to best determine where good viewing spots may be. Organizers remind viewers to be sure they are not on private property, parked in roads or blocking driveways during the show. Boaters should be cautious and avoid shallow areas as they draw closer to shore by the fireworks show.
