Plumas Community Hospice board members report that they recognized the dedication and passion of the group’s volunteers at a thank-you celebration held at the home of Jacky Trotter June 9. Susan DeLano was also welcomed in her role as the organization’s new director.
Plumas Community Hospice is a local nonprofit organization that provides support and comfort to families and their loved ones as they complete the final chapter of life with dignity and compassion. About a dozen volunteers currently work with the group, providing compassionate care, guidance and support for a few hours a week as needed.
