Organizers report that the beloved Quincy Saturday Market at Dame Shirley Plaza is back. The community markets will take place monthly throughout the summer and early fall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The dates are June 22, July 13, Aug. 17 and Sept. 7.
Attendees can expect multiple food vendors, free kids’ face painting, henna tattoos, hair braiding and handcrafted items by local crafters and artists in mediums such as crochet, woodworking, macrame, stained glass and more. Other offerings include jewelry, custom tumblers, freeze dried candy, art and decor, soaps, lotions and pet items, just to name a few.
“The markets provide a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, support local businesses and have a great time,” say organizers. “Each market day promises unique items and activities, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy at every market.”
