UPDATE: Plumas Disc Golf reports that the tournament has been rescheduled to Sept. 7.
Plumas Disc Golf announces the 2024 Trilogy Challenge, a disc golf tournament event set to take place at the Pioneer Park Disc Golf Course. The event is scheduled for July 20, starting at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $40 for preregistration. Day-of registrants pay an extra $5.
The Trilogy Challenge, organized by Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64 and Westside Discs, is designed to be accessible to players of all skill levels. Participants will be provided with three discs — a driver, a midrange disc and a putter — and must complete the entire tournament using only these discs. The discs are new releases from the Trilogy brands, explain organizers, offering players an opportunity to try out new equipment.
“We’re excited to bring the Trilogy Challenge to our community,” says Jeremiah Bridges, the event organizer. “This event is not just about the competition, but also about promoting the sport of disc golf and bringing our community together.”
Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in various divisions, including general, female, junior and junior female divisions. The prizes include trophy discs and gift cards for dynamicdiscs.com.
Scoring for the event will be managed through the UDisc app. Participants are encouraged to register with their UDisc account to ensure their scores are recorded and they’re eligible for awards.
