CDFW discusses deer hunting trends, conservation efforts

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife reports that its next advanced hunter education webinar is set for Aug. 13. This free virtual event is titled “2024 Deer Hunting Forecast,” and it will run from 6 to 7 p.m.

“Counting down the days until deer hunting season? We at CDFW are too!” say organizers. In an effort to serve hunters, CDFW staffers report they have brought in experts to discuss California deer hunting opportunities and trends, deer management/conservation efforts and chronic wasting disease.

There will be a dedicated question-and-answer segment at the end of the webinar. Organizers encourage participants to submit questions beforehand to [email protected] and they will try to address as many as possible during the webinar. Registration is available at https://www.register-ed.com/events/view/215684.
